WELSH 3 PEAKS
Welsh 3 Peaks Challenge is an unforgettable experience where you will attempt to climb the three highest peaks in Wales back to back.
With a walking distance of 17 miles and ascent of 2334m in under 24 hours, really is no easy task.
With considerably less driving than the National 3 Peaks challenge and a gentler pace this is a challenge that the majority of people can achieve, especially with the support of the experienced guides helping you every step of the way.
Collection in Chester, we then head south to take on Pen-Y-Fan I the Brecon Beacons, mid Wales to Cadair Idris finishing with a spectacular sunrise on the ever popular Snowdon.
ITINERARY
Collection at Chester Train Station for 11am allowing everyone plenty of time to travel from any part of the UK. From here we start the challenge immediately and head down to south Wales.
Pen-Y-Fan – Pony track to Corn Du and the summit of Pen-Y-Fan – 3:00pm – 6:00pm
Cadair Idris – From Minffordd – 9:00pm – 1:00am - Sunset
Snowdon – Pyg Track up, descend Miners Path – 3:00am – 7/8:00am
After the challenge drop off at Chester Train Station for all major travel links.
Open challenges are for everyone/anyone to join. No minimum or maximum numbers.
